Ingredients:
- Pork intestine
- 1/2 pound pig fat
- 2 liters fresh pig's blood
- 1 pound onions
- 4 pounds rice
- 1 pound coriander
- 1 cup milk
- 6 lemons
- 1 bottle vinegar
- Oil
Preparation
1. Wash the pork intestine veru well with lemon and vinegar.
2. Cook the rice for 40 minutes with water, salt and oil
3.Cut the onions, the corinder, and the fat in a recipe
4. Mix the pig's blood with the rice, onions, corinder, pig fat in a big recipient, and add salt and 1 cup of milk
5. Fill out the intestine with the mix and finally cook for 2 hours.
Anecdote
In my family is tradition eat blood sausage on December. Every year my mom cook this pig´s part in grandmother´s house in Choco, She is an expert. Three years ago my mom bougth the ingredients in town's butcher, the ingredients looked fresh and the family were happy because the blood sausage is famous for its fabulous savor. In two hours the blood sausage was ready, but the food looked strange its color was red no black. Any people ate the blood sausage in this year, because the blood was not the pig, it was the cow. The family was unhappy and this year ate sancocho.
Sancocho solves all world problems!
