
Ingredients:
2 coconuts
2 pound of rice
2 spoonful of brown sugar
salt
Recipe:
1. Remove the water of coconuts and keep the water in a container.
2. Remove the pulp of coconuts and cut the pulp in a small pieces.
3. Blend all the pulp with coconuts with 2 cups of hot water in the blender.
4. Sift and save this milk.
5. Put 1 cup this milk in a pot and then cook this with 2 spoonful of brown sugar until the water has completely evaporated.
6. Add 4 cups of milk and 2 pounds of rice.
7. Add salt and brown sugar to taste.
8. Add raisins when the water is boiling and mix.
9. When the rice is dry, mix the rice and cover the pot.
10. Cook to simmer.
My mother cook so delicious these foods. I don´t like rice made by other because there are tasteless and wet or very dry. Also sometimes in this type of rice the people don´t find the vbaance between sweet and salty.
